In today’s article, we would like to introduce you to some unconventional saunas and steam cabins that you should consider.
Designer steam saunas
Most designer hotel spas offer steam cabins as well as saunas. These can be freestanding or built into various rooms, including hard-to-reach areas. Clients often want glass walls – one or more.
Inside the steam cabin, a steam generator can be placed for steam aromatherapy – the injection of fragrant essences. The temperature of the steam for aromatherapy is usually in the range of 40 to 45 degrees. Alternatively, a fragrance injector is sufficient.
You can also create a starry sky in the steam sauna by lighting the edges of the benches in different colours.
Finnish sauna and bio-sauna for your wellbeing
The Finnish sauna can also be more modern. For example, it can be equipped with light therapy. You can also make it more design-oriented and create a lining of stacked logs. It can also be a stone veneer – a design element that protects the wall when the sauna stones are poured. The unique design of your sauna can be accentuated with lighting accessories or perhaps a SunSet LED backlight.
In addition to the Finnish sauna, the bio-sauna is another popular addition to the wellness area. Not everyone can tolerate the high temperatures of a Finnish sauna, so a bio-sauna is the ideal alternative for your customers. It is a solution that allows wellness visitors to choose between a traditional Finnish sauna or a combined bio-sauna with herbal aromatherapy.
An infrared sauna is usually part of a spa. We can offer you the option of inserting any number of infrared panels into a traditional sauna. You get a unique combination of infrared sauna and traditional sauna. You can switch on the infrared panels whenever you want. Give your customers what they really want.
Ceremonial sauna in the public wellness area
A Finnish ceremonial sauna with a capacity of several dozen people can be an interesting addition to a spa. An example of a ceremonial sauna is the TAO TRUST Finnish sandwich sauna with opposite benches arranged on three levels in the form of a “coupe”.
The sauna pictured below is located in a Czech wellness centre and is equipped with a large ceremonial stove designed for commercial use and TRUST sauna accessories. The atmosphere is enhanced by the individually designed sauna lighting and the decorative stone panel behind the stove.
