TAO sauna cabins for the Aldrov luxury resort
One of the projects we are particularly proud of is the implementation of a sauna zone for the newly opened Aldrov resort in Vítkovice in the Krkonoše Giant Mountains. The mountain resort is located near a ski area and offers relaxation in a beautiful hotel wellness with a view of the Krkonoše Mountains. You can warm up here after winter skiing or summer hiking in several saunas with different types of treatments. All of them are united by precise craftsmanship, modern design and the TAO brand.
In the public sauna area you can enjoy a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna and a steam bath. The TAO TRUST Finnish sauna cabin has a “coupe” layout, i.e. opposing benches on several levels, and like most of the cabins in this spa, it has been adapted to the building’s windows. The spacious cabin has dimensions of 4.3 x 5.3 m, making it suitable for group sauna rituals. The interior cladding of the cabin is made of riven thermo spruce and thermo abachi wood was chosen for the benches.
Both sauna cabins have glass entrance areas and ambient lighting designed by backlighting the benches and backrests. The second one, the smaller bio sauna TAO TRUST with dimensions of 4.3 x 2.5 m has benches arranged on two levels. The bench and the inner cladding are made of soft aspen wood. This bio sauna is designed for milder sauna sessions combined with aromatherapy. It has a sauna stove with bowls for herbs and fragrant essences, a sub-ceiling heating system and an external steam generator.
The Aldrov Resort allows you to rent a private wellness area, called the Private Spa. For these spaces we have installed two smaller TAO TRUST sauna cabins with dimensions of 2.4 x 2.1 m. These cabins are also adapted to the space and unique architecture of the mountain resort’s buildings.
Both have glazed entrances and corner windows overlooking the surrounding countryside. The cladding consists of cedar wood panels laid vertically in contrast to the line of the benches and backrests. These were made of abachi wood. Both cabins are equipped with backlighting on the benches and a wall-mounted sauna light.
In the wellness area, visitors can also use the 2.4 x 2 m TAO steam cabin. The designer cabin in grey tones is equipped with heated benches, spotlights, steam outlet lighting and LED backlighting on the edge of the benches. As part of our IMAGINOX GROUP, we have implemented an entire two-storey wellness centre, where, in addition to the TAO sauna cabins, there is also a swimming pool and other stainless steel IMAGINOX wellness products.
