Sauna TAO TRUST and cooling pool with movable cover
For our client from Moravia (Czech republic), we created a sauna and cooling pool design that combines perfect aesthetics with thoughtful functionality. The indoor premium TAO TRUST Finnish sauna and the outdoor stainless steel IMAGINOX cooling pool, protected by an elegant mobile cover, are part of a beautiful private wellness area.
The Finnish sauna from TAO TRUST offers perfect comfort and design
This indoor Finnish sandwich cabin has dimensions of 260 × 230 × 256 cm. The front and side walls are glazed with tempered clear glass to create a feeling of open space and visually connect the sauna with its surroundings. The 70 cm wide entrance door is made of 8 mm thick single-panel tempered clear glass and has a frame and Trust design handle.
The interior is lined with large hemlock panels, which are distinguished by their fine texture and durability. The TRUST benches are two-tiered and arranged in an L-shape. They are made of Abachi softwood with Conti straight backrests. The upper bench is 70 cm wide and the lower bench is 60 cm wide. There is no step stool or headrest.
The sauna is heated by a 9 kW EOS Bio Invisio XL under-valve electric heater with a Sanarium system and an EOS EmoStyle H touch control panel.
Premium accessories are also included: an hourglass, a thermometer, a Trust bucket with a scoop, and a set of aromas. The sauna has been custom-made, including precise assembly and complete commissioning.
The IMAGINOX stainless steel cooling pool – refreshment after the sauna
To achieve the ideal sauna cycle, we installed this rectangular IMAGINOX cooling pool, which has internal dimensions of 1.8 × 1.0 × 1.2 m and a stainless steel construction. The bottom and stairs have a non-slip surface, and the pool has a straight four-step staircase across its entire width.
The circulation system includes a drainage slot in the wall and a bottom nozzle for automatic filling and timed draining. The water temperature ranges from 6 to 10 °C, and the pool is equipped with a Wibre blue LED RGB spotlight for an evening ambience.
The Aquafloors movable cover – a practical and aesthetic solution
To protect the cooling pool and maximise space usage, we designed and manufactured the Aquafloors movable cover, which measures approx. 2.2 x 1.4 m. Its painted aluminium structure is reinforced for granite tile cladding and complemented by a compact Nidaplast board. The terrace moves on rails parallel to the pool’s shorter side, and has manual offset locking and thermal insulation made of cellular polycarbonate.
Not only does the mobile terrace protect the water surface from dirt, it also allows the area above the pool to be used as a walking surface or relaxation area. This realisation exemplifies how luxury materials, modern technology, and precise craftsmanship can be combined to create a harmonious whole that will endure for many years.
